Post O2 Sensor in CA 944/924S

Does anyone know the difference between the O2 sensor in the CA 944/924S and the 49 state version? The parts folks want A LOT more money for the CA version.
Thanks,
Bob Sams

CA version

3 wires
Provides a pre-heat to the sensor so the car falls into smog compliance faster.

BOSCHE sells a universal "three-wire" that is a lot less expensive than the factory part and works perfectly. Only change is that you will need to remove the connector from your existing sensor and reuse it on the replacement.

Unless you have money to burn, I'd go with a universal.

Thanks, Javier! That's exactly what I wanted to hear.
