car wont start
1986 951 worked fine yesterday now wont start it has new reference and speed sensors in it. it is getting spark, the fuel pump is working and the fuel rail is getiing fuel i hooked up a wired to the injecters and they all work. if all of this is working why wont it start

with the car on i got 2.0 kohms and off i got 1.8kohms

i have pulled a spark plug wire and put a spark plug in it and saw spark
|

silly question how long ago was the reff and speed sensors installed?.... try pushing the connections together more and try again. may wiggled loose............................................. .......................................... i dont know.................... listen to wilky

i bought a noid light today hooked it up and i am not getting any signal what would cause this

What is the voltage on both pins at the injectors?
Wire breakage in the harnesses and connectors is a big problem on these cars..... If you have 12volts on both sides you have a short........ you should see 12 and 10

ok tried all of them nothing if this is a failure of the dme can this transistor be fixed or am i looking at a new dme. the car does have chips in it could they be doing anything?

i do not know anybody that i could borrow one from should i try replacing the chips with the stock ones

no access to an oscilloscope but yes my tack works and when im cranking the engine it reads about 200 to 300

I think you are right FR....
From what I have read the KLR does not affect injector firing Also the main power transistors can develop cracks at the soldering joints.......so you may be able to re-solder to solve your problem..

i am not in that big off a hurry i bought the car a year ago and rebuilt the engine i just last week got the car running i only have 30 miles on it its not my only car is there any way that some other sensor would be telling it not to fire

my injecters are firing i got a noid light and they are working now i hooked up a fuel guage and im geting 35psi and it does not loose 14 psi over 20 mins. im getting spark but its not a nice blue one could this be my problem a bad coil maybe

i was being stupid the other day i had unplugged the computer when you told me to test one of the pins i never plugged it back up to test the injecters i pluuged it up and tried again they are firing but the car wont start

i hooked up my preasure guage i have 35 psi i took the spark plugas out and cleaned them up they were all black

i was just looking at a manual i have on cd its for a 944 turbo its says when testing fuel preasure you should get 2.3 to 2.7 bar when jumping the relay they didnt say to remove any vacumm line so if thats the case then my regulator is working right?

yes 2 bar is right at idle but my car wont start so i can only jump the relay when i crank the engine it is still at 35 psinow when im cranking should i only have 20 psi
