944 gearbox on audi.....
I´ve heard rumors that there´s an AUDI with the same gearbox that came on the late 944.....does anyone knows wich audi car has it??????

The Automatic tranny (3 speed) on the 944 is also on the Audis of that vintage (the 4000 and 5000, even the 200)

I know that the manual trannies have audi symbols all over them...
So I don't think it was just the auto

Mine has audi stamped in a few places on it. IIRC, it matches up to the audi 6000 series, but I think they modified the housing to fit the 944.
