Guess who I heard from the other day...

On friday, FRWilk sent me a happy birthday email. Says he is doing fine, reiterates that his computer and all chip documents were stolen, and that nobody has impersonated him online. I asked him if he would mind me posting about this on PP, and he said anything that helps dispell crazy rumors is fine by him.

HE LIVES!

Wait, so all those posts were him?... He has changed then.
Too bad he isn't on this board much any more.

I was going to get his HFM replacement flow meter. The design was on his computer and was lost. I wonder if the thieves were caught or if any of his property was recovered.

Glad to hear he is alright. Does he have any plans on coming back and hanging with us?

No. He quit 6 months ago. People like me still write him and ask questions.

DITTO.
Those of us who have been around understand and appreciate the 'wilk'

I don't think FR realizes the number of people he has helped directly and indirectly with his knowledge of the 'force'.

Nice to hear you are still out there.

Cheers, 1 shot down of sassparilla to knowing wilk is doing fine. If you ever get the itch again, hope to see you soon and know we can still place orders.

Happy holidays Wilk

According to some posters on Rennlist he is indeed open for business and will have his website/info back up shortly.

O/T: I like your German troll feeding message. Should have an "n" on the end, i.e. ~rn. If it doesn't fit, I'd drop the "bitte"

Cool- I ripped the phrase off of another poster who put that line up in 10 languages. The German seemed fitting for this site. I'll make your fix!

Edit- I think he did have the N on there, but it is the 26th character, and 25 is the limit. If I remove the bitte, what does it say?

He uses a web hosting company and the whole thing got corrupted. They had to delete the whole site to fix the problem. When he is done fixing all the problems, Wilk will put it back at www.frwilk.com .

"bitte" is please, so you'd be saying "don't feed the troll", rathrer than "please, don't fee the troll".

Much more Germanic, if you know what I mean.

it's been like that for a couple months now.. just an order page, not the source of information like it used to be.
