Looks like an '86 Turbo. You can tell because it has no spring tensioner. Could be a very early '87 engine also, im not sure when the spring tensioner switch happened.

That's what I thought. But I've never seen a spring tensioner, so I wasn't sure I could rule out and '87 or later.

It is a Turbo engine.

In fact, it is a NEW Turbo engine. It has been sitting unused in its shipping crate for the past 20 years. It has never been fired. It's for sale. It was offered to me, but I can't afford it. (Anyone ) PM me for details if you are interested.

I was going to say that either looks rebuilt or is brand new. You can tell by the red oil filter and how the cadmium plated parts are still shiny.

What is the asking price on that? Thats pretty cool, but would probably probably need a reseal before it could be used.
