Porsche Crest Setting 1977 924 ignition timing.

I am looking for the correct ignition timing for a 1977 Porsche 924.

Should be on your front fender on a sticker... if the inside of the engine's clean (nothing to promote detonation), you may be able to pick up some HP by moving the base idle timing to 6 degrees BTDC (Stock setting is often retarded, not advanced, for emissions) - ubt poor fuel or a dirty combustion chamber will often make that setting detonate.
