Hey, another night owl...

The way that belt tension is adjusted is by the A/C compressor. If it is a very temporary fix, tie a piece of cord around the pulleys and take it, and the old belt, to your FLAPS. They should be able to figure it out. BTW, there is an A/C delete kit, with a bracket and belt, which relocates the alternator to where the deleted compressor was.

I'm only doing this because you're new here. Try one of these:

http://www.*****************.com/product_p/pp944.acdel.kit2.htm

http://www.lindseyracing.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=LR&Category_Code=944ENGINGTRANSACDELTE

http://www.944online.com/cgi-bin/ASI_Store.cgi?Product+skukey_20051735+9442+climate control-9442

There may be others. Try searching "A/C delete"

WOW, $155-175.00 for it.
I found on Net whole AC compressor with 90 days warranty for $75.00.
Next summer I will chill my myself
Thanks for your effort anyway, but some manufacturers just don't have a sense for business.
