Need Belt Size
If I temporarily dissable AC and just jump the belt to alternator what size of belt will it be?
Also the hood struts don't hold anymore is there alternative part. This one reads: 0270N 21/90 B14 Both parts are for "87 924S |

Hey, another night owl...
The way that belt tension is adjusted is by the A/C compressor. If it is a very temporary fix, tie a piece of cord around the pulleys and take it, and the old belt, to your FLAPS. They should be able to figure it out. BTW, there is an A/C delete kit, with a bracket and belt, which relocates the alternator to where the deleted compressor was.

WOW, $155-175.00 for it.
I found on Net whole AC compressor with 90 days warranty for $75.00. Next summer I will chill my myself ![]() Thanks for your effort anyway, but some manufacturers just don't have a sense for business. |
