You Mother ...!

so i went to luch today after spending all morning working on my car. I washed it. I washed it again. I did the windows. I polished the tires. I filled the tank then sat under a shady tree and waxed the hell out of my black 944. When finished, Ieagerly climed in and sped down the road towards my favorite, authentic chineese restraunt, contantly dreaming of that cold sweet tea. After chowin down, i came out to this! How do these come off? and who has one please.

Maybe they had something against 92.1 the KEG ???? Looks like you are all set because that is a quick remove part and cheap to replace. There are screws at the top in the engine compartment, then raise the light and I think the little bolts at the bottom are 8 mm.

Bear with me here for a moment...

The car replaced the horse, no?

Some states still have laws on the books that a horse thief can be shot on sight. One way of stealing a horse was to brand it. Your car has been branded, no?

I think that whatever you do to the scumbag is legally justifed.

924 turbo valances are big favorites because they have the slots with the vent things in them, they can go for a pretty penny, but since you've got to replace it and repaint it you might as well get a nice one from a 931

btw, the picture above is supposed to be bigger, but it ended up uploading to be smaller than original, so the two at the ends on the bottom are 10 mm bolts accessed from the headlight area, the four on the bottom underneath the rubber headlight bumper are 8 mm, there are two inside of the valance that you can get to with the headlights up, they are philips head screws, and the four (or five can't remember) on the top edge are philips

good luck and i'm sorry
Ethan

that happened to me - TWICE!!!! - i was lucky on the first one, and the girl that had done it was still parked there

the second time, it happened to me in a very ritzy neighborhood (10 million dollar houses everywhere) - that was the last thing i expected from people like that

Dude... I would have flipped out. Good for you for taking it in stride. You will be happy once you get it fixed and will forget the whole thing. As for that b@stard... we can all put the whammy on the scumbag and maybe his tow hitch will fall off the next time he is hauling a big load

Some doofus backed into my car. Dented the crease just below the rear hatch keyhole. He said my car was so small, he didn't see it. You might think you only see this kind of thing on TV, but I swear, his glasses actually were as thick as the bottom of a coke bottle! He got fired the next day for zero job performance, before I could get a quote from a body shop. No forwarding address (he was living at some fleabag motel at the time).

Just like my car, your damage doesn't appear to be able to be buffed out either. The damage to your front plate, however, appears to be significant.

it's actually the original one that had TONS of rock chips, so i took it off along with the other panels you see black and sanded them down really well and painted them (rattlecanned it but it looks pretty good!)

And no sorry i don't have one for the spot welded ones, haven't taken one of those off yet...

i've taken a spot welded one off but i havent done two so couldn't tell you if theyre welded in the same place.

bad luck with your car Matt. If you are having trouble locating a 931 badge panel but still want the vents, do a search on the rennlist 944 turbo forum for user NZ951. He made and posted a template he made on CAD for the sizes and placement of the vent holes. he cut his own panel and put in the vents himself.

Join the club, someone did the same thing to my car, but before I bought it, so I at least don't have the "I can't believe some blind idiot did this" bad vibe to go along with replacing the part.

You can't see it, but they also gouged a chunk out of one of the front bumper pads too

I have a new panel, same color too, just have to get around to replacing it.

Mercifuly, they didn't get the headlights, which still open and close smoothly
