Sound system
Anyone tried using 6.5" speakers in both the door and rear locations?
I am trying to somewhat budget my sound system on this 83' rehab I am doing. Also because I will use both the back seat for my 4 year old, and the rear area to carry my Mtn. and Road bikes for fun and work, I really can't mount subs and amps anywhere. I will need to power everything off the head unit at 50w X4 from the Kenwood unit. I know that the 4x6's are not very well know for reproducing good sound, so any suggestions would be good. |

yes - i have a set of JL Audio woofers and tweeters in the doors of the white 968 - not bad - still not enough bottom end, but better
the rears can benefit a lot more, since you can pretty much enclose the area |

Yes, have put 6.5" in rear. Required some cutting of the metal to get the to fit, but the result was well worthwhile.
