Power Steering Bracket Snapped

Hmm. Ok.. it looks bad.
With a replacement bracket, what am I looking at as far as reinstallation?
I mean, I could use the forearm workout turning the wheel without power steering, but I'd like to have it back.
The car is a 1989 944 N/A.

You need a new lower balance shaft cover ("gear carrier" in PET). If you have to pay a technician to replace this, it will cost you a fortune.

Easily in a 924S. . .the ps pump hangs way below the bodywork (BTDT).

It happened to my 968 in the same place, I took it apart and a welder I know was able to fix it and add a bit extra to make it stronger.
Many think it is caused by excess vibration from weak motor mounts on miss aligned balance shafts.

Not sure. But I did have to replace the little tension bar a few times. It kept snapping.

I have had one break from loose bolts on the A/C compressor, and another break from old motor mounts, and yet another from my own over-torqueing. You have to pull everything off the front of the engine to get to it.
