Taking out a S2 instrument cluster
Hey guys
I need some quick tips to take out the cluster. and whether or not the steering wheel needs to come off. Many thanks ![]() |

Yep you need to remove the steering wheel - then there are 9 screws holding the gauge cluster cover - and four more for the gauge cluster it self, +++.

IIRC, You have an Air Bag. Disconnect the Battery for at least 30 min. to disable it and be very careful after that. That bag carries one heck of a wallop to the face.
Ref: Clark's garage.com If this is an air bag equipped car, you'll have to perform the air bag reset procedure to reset the air bag warning light.
