NYC metro meetup, part 2 1/27/02
Some have expressed interest for a meetup on sunday, mainly those who didn't come for the last one. Thus far there are only 4 definites including myself. If we can get together 10 people, I think its worth it. Otherwise, we can just push it back to a later date.

It's a go!
It's on, 1pm at the Pallisades center tomorow. I'm counting 6 cars, including a 968 (can stay till 2pm) and a 930, which weren't there before.
DIRECTIONS: Exit 12 on the NYS Thruway. Coming from the north, exit and bear to the right onto the perimeter road. Once Home depot is on your left, pull into the commuter lot on the right, best to meet in the first section of spaces on the left as you enter. Coming from the south, exit 12. Stay in left lane, left at light, second light turn right onto the perimeter road, first right should be commuter lot. From all points south: The Palisades parkway to the Thruway east. Garden State north to the end, right two lanes to the Thruway east. It's a huge mall..you cant miss it if you're on 287 Oh...and if you go its a requirement that you help me track down my air leak! Car drives fine, but hissing sound coming from AFM area. Bring tools if necesary

OK...either I couldn't find anybody...or anybody couldn't find anybody. I got there about 1:20, 1:30 and saw a red boxster S leaving...I believe that was ED.
I couldn't find anybody...I drove through all the parking lots and ended up just parking it outside Filenes and going in to the mall to wander around and get a bite to eat with my brother. I hope some of you guys found eachother...I saw a black 996...wasn't there for the meet though...not that I know of anyway. Next time...We definetely have to trade cell phone numbers...would make life a lot easier. Apologies to all!!
