Cool A/C switch

It was another warm one here today, when I went to push in my A/C switch, it popped off and shot back onto the passenger seat. I'm able to get it back on, but it keeps popping back off and the switch is hard to activate now. Has anyone replaced this switch? Pelican doesn't seem to carry A/C parts and the Hayne's manual doesn't cover much on dash mounted switch replacement. Also any info on best place to buy one would be a good thing to know too.

Thanks in advance. Bob

BTW... had a waving session with the driver of a sweet black 944 on Interlachen near Morse in downtown Winter Park this morning around 8:45am. Anyone?

Try 944 Ecology or Parts Heaven for obscure pieces.

Pelican could order you one from Porsche-$500. The Parts Bin has them new for around $350-that's where I got mine and it was brand new.

Bob- the same thing happened to me. If you've got the button, try glueing it back on. I did this and it worked for a while, didn't use enough super glue though, and I lost the button somewhere. I'll prorbaly just try and find another of a parts car, brak it off and glue again. Looks like a lot of headache and $ to replace any other way! -Jeff
