The paint on my calipers got pretty beat up during reassembly, so today I finally got around to touching it up. They look orange in the picture, but they're actually red.

I also primed my rear trailing arms.

My car looks so sad up there on the lift. I bet it's wondering if it'll ever move again...

Coming up soon (hopefully) is some Elephant Racing caster blocks/suspension bushings and some Power Flex sway bar bushings. Once those are in it'll be time to decide between thicker torsion bars or going all out and installing rear coilovers...

I drove my NA to Mount Rainier and had a helluva lot of fun. I went to the Paradise side. Nice windy road and not too many cars. I took the 15 MPH turns at 30, the 20 MPH turns at 40, and so on. Proper Porsche roads!

I need something like that near me...I spent some time in Fort Lewis while in the Army...that mountain stared down on us...beautiful site. Enjoy!

A least you have a garage to work on your car, Chunkerz.
How much is one of those MAXJAX anyway?

After 4 years of ownership and lots of repair work, but little driving, finally got out for a DE. No leaks, ran great, what a hoot to drive and I lapped a GT3 every session. It was her first time on track...but it still felt good

If you see that little guy again, please leave him a note to encourage the continued loss/removal/painted rub strips.

Heck, why not slip this picture under the wiper...

Today I installed my replacement starter solenoid and the car stared right up! The large bodied starter sounds much different while cranking compared to my original starter.

I also painted my rear trailing arms to make them look fresh and new.

I broke one of the engine bay water drain valve flaps so new ones were ordered today.

I'm jealous, Mike. I left Gig Harbor to come here, where the roads are straight, flat and no redeeming qualities. The nearest thing we have to a mountain is a 65 ft tall landfill on the east coast near Melbourne.

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

Found bubbles coming out of idle air control valve when checked with air pressure and soapy water solution. Tried to order a new one and told by Porsche dealerships (3) that they are discontinued and had to buy a used one that looked in good condition. Supposedly there's only one in the data base and it's in Germany. Heads up, folks. Detailed the engine bay while waiting for parts.

I got a brand new one from 944 Online. It wasn't cheap, but it's better than a used one.

This is kinda OT, but did anyone else know that Pelican Parts is selling jelly beans? I bought some when I ordered my latest batch of parts. Most of them are pretty disgusting...

A new o-ring seals those ICV's right up.

Yeah, the old starters are slower and lower pitched, kind of sound like an old Ford truck.

Twas a busy couple of days: I replaced the alternator, cap/rotor and plug wires. Cleaned MAF while I was in there.

Today I fixed the driver's window on my 924S. Again.

I also pulled the exhaust and cylinder head off the 944S parts car. I'm really tired now.
