Where does it Plug into?
I have recently replaced the heater control valve and cleaned out the oil separator, now it is time to put it all back together. I must admit that I am a bit embarrassed because I don't remember where this two position connector plugs into. It comes from a wire bundle at the back of the engine and is long enough to reach around the area where the Idle Speed Control is located. It looks just like connectors used for the Air Flow Sensor, Throttle Switch and Temperature Sensor. Those items are all accounted for as well as the 4 Fuel Injectors, Reference Sensors and Idle Speed Control. Any idea where this two position connector plugs into?

Just to provide a little more information, the car is a 1988 924s. See picture of the 2 position connector in question.

Any idea where this knock sensor is Skyhawk, on the block or the back of the engine?
The 5 position connector in the picture plugs into the AFS, the three position connector mates to the throttle body connector. |

After doing more searches, it appears that this is an extra connector on the harness. If this is true, I just spent the entire week end pulling my hair out trying to out where this plugs into.
You got to love these cars! |
