Wondering if I should sell my 16" BBS rims?
What do you think? I am not a big fan of the black anymore. I might go back to the phone dials or something else.
Any idea of what I should be able to sell them for? The tires are michelin pilot one's with 150-200 miles on them.

Are you sure you want to sell those? If you still like them, you can repaint the centers, because BBS RS's have a pretty historically accurate look on Porsches like these. You can use the Turbo S's 16" Clubsport wheels, or you can go with 17" Boxster wheels or 18" Turbo Twists.

I called a power-coating facility and they offered to media blast them, but they do not deal with factory finishes. I would rather get them refinished to the original factory color, and get the lip re-polished as part of the process.
Anyone know a good wheel refinishing co. around New Hampshire/New England? |

Those Tire Rack wheels aren't Chinese are they? Looked at some online they were made in China. If they are..... I don't trust their quality control.

Don't get the Chinese wheels from tire rack. I got a set for my CD (98 Audi a6, 217k miles) and I destroyed 2 in normal driving. Cracks, rims bent and one just stopped holding air - the metal became porus, if you can believe that.

Took a closer look at the rims @ tirerack, seems like everything is made in China nowadays.

Agree with the above. Those Chinese Tire Rack wheels look like azz. Put them on a pimped-out Honda, not on a 944.
I have two sets of BBS RS wheels - one black and one silver. If you're tired of the black ones you could have them refinished (or just buy new middle sections) to make silver or any other color (even white to match the car). They're timeless and look great.

If it is the color of the centers that bother you, try Plasti-dip or what ever it is called, cheap, you can do it yourself and it isn't permanent.

At least you can trust your BBS to be safe. I've seen too much Chinese "Quality Control" to trust anything they make but AK47s.

If you change to a silver porsche center cap, then it would have the same color balance as a fuchs wheel.
