968 Tool Kit

I am looking to iron out the details on my two 968's. My '92 retains its original tool kit as shown below. My '93's was missing when I bought it but I have been able to gather most of the tools from this community.

Is the only correct tool bag for a 968 the gray with the tie?

What is the allen key with the rubber end used for?

Is there anything missing?

Bonus question, were 968's delivered with a jack bag? The owners manual refers to it but none of my 968's had one but clearly I did not buy them new.

968s came with both brown and grey tool bags.

i believe the allen tool is for the seat

in 11 years of dealing with 968s, i have never seen a jack bag

That allen tool looks the same as the one for the cam tower on the 944.

Flash and Chicks,

Thanks for the reply. I have been doing a bit more research on '92 vs. '93 tool kits and noticed a detail in the manual in regards to "hook for wheel nut cover" (928.361.311.00). It appears to me that this hook was discontinued in favor of a hook-cut wheel lock key in '93; see photos below.

Also here is the misleading jack bag reference:

Please let me know if you have any leads on a correct 968 tool bag.

Thanks again,

Andrew

correct on the wheel locks. those are early ones. they changed to the McGard locks mid way.

the felt bag may well have been a 92 thing only. there were quite a few odd things in the 92. as i've said, i haven't seen one yet.

as for the tool bag itself, it could be grey or brown. my early 94 has a brown one. i think my late 94 has a grey one.
