tie rod rubbing sway bar 951

Hi All. its been along time since Ive been on. I wrecked my 951 back in 08 but after a couple of kids and a new house, iam back on the project.
Iam almost finish and I noticed that my swaybar is rubbing both tie rods. the rubbers are good on swaybar, but iam not sure when putting back together that I may have missed something. any help you guy can give would be greatly appreciated. maybe I have sway bar brackets on body backwards? just not sure . its been so long since I worked on it last. tie rods are new and not bent. I do remember the clearance being close back when I was driving it. Thanks all.

Clearance on 968 30mm swaybar is very tight to tie rods when suspension fully extended. Im portant to tighten up the swaybar fixings with suspension loaded.

Quick check on the net and I see pics of swaybars mounted above and below A arm ... just for my sanity can someone confirm this is the right way

(Pic form prev post but same set up as mine)

iirc early 944's and all 924S's (all the steel arms) had them mounted on the top. All others are mounted on the bottom, except for some aftermarket like Welts which again are mounted on the top. Your 86 951 should be mounted on the bottom.
