Stock or sleeved engine?

Tearing down a spare engine and looking for engine guru's help here. Is this a stock bore or has this engine been sleeved? Pistons are tolerance 1, 100mm mahle pistons with stock rods.

looks stock to me but very worn out...
if you clean it up (wipe all the oil away, use some brake cleaner to help clean better) a sleeve would be very obvious dark grey usually 3/32" or 1/8" thick.

you could always try a magnet..

Thanks spencer. I'll give the bores a good wipe down with some brake cleaner and post more pics.

To confirm, touch a magnet to the cylinder walls, no stick=aluminum, stick=steel.

not a great photo but you can see how much the sleeves "stand out" visually compared to the alum.
this was a 3.0L block i used to have.

Got the bores cleaned up a little more along with the pistons. Crank, girdle,rod/main bearings looked fine.

What should I do with a spare block, pistons, and crank now?

measure the bores, if in spec for roundness/taper you could probably do the paste-hone treatment and rebuild it with those pistons and new rings.

Selling block, cradle, crank, and pistons in for sale section. Just going to take up more garage space than I want, hopefully it will all go to a good home.
