944 for sale
I have a 84 944 for sale. I bought this several years ago and gave it to my 70 year old mother. She loved that car and really babied it.
Well I overlooked doing the timing belt since she had not put many miles on it since she has had it. (she had 3 cars) Well the timing belt just went and may have bent a valve. then engine had the oil cooler was just replaced last month, the clutch was done last year, brakes are new and tires have less then 300 miles on them. The body is in near perfect condition with amazing paint. I would call it a 9 out of 10. The interior is near pefect as well. It does have a hard dash cover due to a split common to these cars. It had new carpet and the seats are perfect. The car is too nice to part out so I would like to sell it whole and maybe somebody who want to put another $2000 into it would have a really nice car. I am located in NJ about 15 minutes out ot Philadelphia Asking $2500

Do you have any interior and under the hood pics? is the speedo broken? did the a/c work prior to the engine going? im very interested. thanks

Wow...the body looks to be near perfect !
nice color too! You should post the option codes...sticker with 3-digit numbers in the spare tire well. For example...if it has option #220 that's limited slip differential....which is very attractive to folks wanting a track car. GLWS !

The interior is just as good as the exterior. The seats are MINT. new carpet too.
The only problem is the usualy dash split by the speaker.. but the PO got a hard dash over so it looks great. The carpet cover around the shift know pops up once in a while. Other then that it is great. I bought this from the owner of a company who restores classic porsches so it has been taken care of all of its life. I will post pictures as soon as I get over to take them. |

yes she was... loves that car but I time to let it go. She had knee problems and can't really drive stick anymore.
