Seriously if you would have said you were using the brush, I believe the brush is just for cleaning in the cracks not for painting. I would definitely strip them and put it down to experience.

Good/Bad, I wanna hear it all. I appreciate all opinions on this. The Brush is used to apply the paint according to the instructions. If anyone does ever use the G2 product in the future, I would buy a few finer hair brushes for the job and I bet it will come out a lot better.

I was having the same thought too Mike. This is most likely what i will do as taking them back off later really isn't that hard of a job. Also, being down isn't that bad as I only drive my 928 a couple times a week. I gotta be the Toddler Limo Driver in the X5 Mon thru Wed anyways.

You need to spray the calipers, I have never painted car parts with a brush, it not that hard to spray, get an airbrush and a source of air and it will turn out a lot better. Make sure you strain the paint, tack rag the caliper and degrease properly. Have a proper stand to support the calipers. I don't know what S4 calipers sell for un-renovated but I got $1400 for my 4 and positive feedback!

Wow, then I guess I hit the jackpot for my front S4 Calipers I bought for $100. I'll first see if I can deal with it once mounted, then decide on re-paint. I like the G2 paint but sure wish I had better guidance than their default instructions. Lessons learned. I do have an Airbrush I used to use when I flew RC Helicopters. Will give me an excuse to use it again.

What I have heard is that brand new from Sunset Porsche is a very good price, frequently MUCH less than they sell for used. OTOH used may come with not just calipers, but spindles and rotors.
