Owning a 928 is risky business - but sometimes you just gotta say "what the fudge".

didnt get dropped off, it is on his truck at the shop, but i went to look at it.. camera was on low batt. so I couldnt take pics, but you guys are not missing out on to much

the rear hatch glass is smashed out, one of the rear quarter glass pieces is cracked. the windshield is smashed and caved in. the interior pieces surprising are not bad though. seats seem seized up,. but they are dry, and not THAT bad considering they are old porsche seats. The carpets are pretty junky and damp

door panels look pretty good, the passenger side is buckled a little at the top,. and the compartment arms need a little grease. hood, fedners, lights, markers all look decent. more to come....

engine is there.. but it looks like some one was playing with it..

my initial guess is that the car broke down, they couldn't get it running, and they walked off on it.

the air intake box is gone. the intake tubes are there, but the filter box, straps, filter, are gone... i took mine off to change the spark plugs, maybe they were trying to get at the motor?

I have no idea. I am gonna have it hear later, paying my 14 year old neighbor 10 bucks to clean out all the broken glass and leaves and we will go from there.

good eyes if you can pick out that that might be an aftermarket exhaust. whats an exhaust like that run ?

i also agree that it is entertaining buying it site unseen, 500 won't kill me. but the thing could be stuffed with parts, rims, gold bullion, who knows.

Exhaust....worth the price you paid for the whole car! LOL

500 bucks is a steal for a solid parts car or race car. It's kind of nice though.
There will be tons of stuff that will be in better condition or in good condition and other things of value. 928 parts are pricey
You can start an ebay biz.
It's great owning 928s right now for this reason.
