Wipers stopped working?

'86 928, no wipers, checked connector under cowling and cleaned...still nothing - nada, the washer motor comes on when you pull the stalk back, but nothing else - any common gremlins that I should check first? thanks, frank

check the fuses after that you should pull the motor out and take it apart and clean it,
its prolly rusted inside then fit a cowl cover,
Jerry Feather makes new cowl covers

After you check the fuses, check to make sure that the arms from the motor to the wipers move freely. It could be that they have not been used in a while and merely require some lubricant and a little time to run after being freed up.

couldn't find a fuse in the passenger footwell and I have a fuse diagram - there is a relay there, which I pulled and reset....where do they hide the fuse?
