Headers

I have a couple of quick questions for the Gurus out there:
1) I have full length tubular headers- can I remove the engine with them on?
2) Will said headers (currently on a '80us 4.5) fit a an '83 4.7us engine?
thanx, Kerry

Exactly correct answers above.

Although taken on as a "betcha can't do this" project by a set of bored engineers in a laboratory environment with a complete set of million dollar tools and harnesses and lifts, there might be a way to lift the engine out with the headers attached. But otherwise, no.
