Depends on the quality of the hoses, some are great very long lasting, but others are not and don't work as well as factory. For vacuum I like the hard MB type nylon lines.

Always check the number of ply, more ply= stronger, but even then there are a lot of dodgy manufacturers out there. As Danglerb says, stick with harder rubber for vacuum, I have seen silicone sold for vacuum use that can be totally collapsed by just blocking one end and putting it in your mouth and sucking the other.

Hi Neil,
Mine were originally made for an aircraft, a twin turbo Duchess if I remember right. I got them when I worked at a local FBO on there ground equipment. (about 15 years ago) I put them on primarily for looks, but they will defiantly out last the rubber OEM. I don't think I paid much if anything for them, but if I was to buy them now from Beechcraft I dont think it would be worth the cost of them just to get that look. Although they do look good in this application. IMHO John

I used them on my 944 turbo. I did not like them. They are very thick compared to the rubber and some places I had trouble routing them. I also felt like some of them were not tight and didn't have a good seal (though I didn't have a leak). My intercooler hoses kept blowing of and it cost me the majority of a track day. They do make fancy colors but for the most part I think it just looks goofy most of the time (maybe I'm too old) I'd stick with the regular rubber.
