Best place to mount manual boost control?
Any pictures of manual boost control mount point? What is the best route to run the lines through the firewall? 1986 944 turbo thanks

There are 1 or 2 factory grommets on the firewall, not sure if they are on all model years though. Same for going into the cabin from the battery tray.
I have the boost controller mounted in my glove box. Easy to adjust, but not too easy if you get what i mean .![]() ![]() No pics of the lines going through the firewall, but if memory serves right there is one right behind the cam tower hoist ring.

You can also put a hole through the rubber grommet in the DME harness and feed through there. I heated up a iron and jabbed it through. Just don't hit any wiring.
![]() This made it easier to hide the extra vaccum lines or wiring. Steve |

Follow the vacuum line that goes to the KLR, use the same hole and put your MBC in the glovebox...you don't even need to drill a hole, just remove the vent that is just inside the glovebox (on the left side), and use that to mount the MBC
