Tire rubbing, please help

Yesterday, I was investigating on my new 964 Carrera 2 cabrio front left tire rubbing. The high regulation is at the lowest position, and I guess that I should rise the nuts a bit, but reading I found that the weight balance is affect by these changes.

I am using 205/45-17 in front and 255/40-17 in the rear. Don’t know offset, but I assume it’s OK since I think they are the original replacement for the 16” ones. The car has small spacer, say about 5 mm. ones.

Is there any problem rising the high, say 1 or 2 cms al around?
What is the appropriate ride high for normal driving, no track, considerinf nor too good road conditions?

The most strange fact is that there are no sign at all of where the wheel rubs…

Thanks

I pretty sure 205's are stock tire ( not sure about the /45) on my RSA (93 964). In fact I run 225's onthe track and have no rubs. But the RSA are factory 17" vs the base 964 that were 16", not sure if that matters.

what high regulation is?

If there is no sign are you sure it is a rub?

Earl
