3rd brake light details

The external third brake light wires meet the normal fender brake light wire in these connectors

Nice Bill,

I'm headed down the same road myself right now. I've been looking for someone to make the RS rockers for a while now because the factory ones are tres' expensive!

Did you find any?

I bought the full M002 RS kit. Except for the cost it's the only way to go.

Bill,

WHat's included in that? I already have the speedline wheels and the front splitters, still need the tail, emblem and rockers.

Thanks!

The sideskirt kit incudes a lot of little parts, see the PET diagram earlier in this thread. There are also 2 plastic plates that go into the leading edge of the wheel well.

The spoiler kit was somewhat less appealing, all parts were included and it's a nice piece w/ an aero effiecient throat leading into the engine compartment, but mounting it was a bit more of a question than the Shaw RS tail that I put on my C3.

Where did you find Speedlines? They are getting harder to come by, I've been looking for either 8" ET50 fronts or 11" ET 67 rears.

Well I wasn't able to find authentic Speedlines for a reasonable price. The last set I saw would have paid for the entire rest of the conversion with paint and labor included.

My wife bought be a set of the original Kinesis speedlines, the old near perfect replicas, not the ugly Aliseo's, for Christmas last year along with spare centers and the front splitters.

I did find a set of 9's and 11's in Germany which I was close on, but again, the price was astronomical.

A little O.T., but seeing as we're talking Speedlines, I was under the impression RUF wheels were Speedlines. I thought they were still readily available. I'm considering these for my car.

The Ruf Speedlines are not the same Speedlines used on the 993RS.

These are the RS Speedlines

Kinesis used to make a nice copy of them, they were also supposed to be coming out w/ a new version, but apparantly that project is on hold.

True Bill, I called them several times over the last 2 years. They are always "working on it." We got a really nice deal on the ones we have though..

Apparantly Kinesis was bought out by Lexani. If you have ever seen their wheel lines you would understand my dismay.
