Porsche Crest New 993 w/pics

Finally did it. My fourth Porsche is finally a 911.

I've been looking for a good clean 993 for a while now, and finally found this one. It's a 97 with only 26k miles. The car is in fabulous shape and runs really strong. Here are a few quick pics.

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

PS - if there are any SoCal drives coming up, please let me know.

Looks very nice.

Do you have plans to lower it back down to Rest of World height? These cars ~really~ benefit in terms of looks and handling when brought back down to the height they were designed for.

PatPend....cool name. IP Atty??

By the way, despite going against nettiquette, I would suggest wandering over to Rennlist.com. There is a HUGE group of 993 owners there. If you like on the Suspension DIY link in my signature, you will be viewing it in the Rennlist forums, so you'll already be there.

Thanks, Jeff.

I hadn't considered suspension mods yet. I'm just now starting to learn about the car and popular/recommended upgrades. Thanks for the info, and I'll definitely check out Rennlist.

PS -yes to IP atty.

Congratulations on the car.
My car had lift throttle oversteer and was kind of squirly compared to my 914.
Last year I installed the M030 kit with Bilsteins and lowered it to ROW Heigth. It corners night and day better and feels more like my 914 did.

Welcome to the Board and congrats! But for the wheels, I think our car are twins. Obviously, I think you made a great choice!

You asked about upcoming SoCal runs. Come out for the run to Big Bear on June 17.
