While everyone wants to cool their brakes, there are no good kits for the 964. In almost all cases it's not really necessary either.

Tom, some people just want the ducts for "looks".
Andre, did you try Getty Design?

Dave Bouzaglou at TRE has the brake air deflectors that fit onto the A-arm.

If your lucky you local body shop has several plastic bumper covers they would love to get rid of...
I took an old Boxster front bumper cover and cut a section out of each corner. The curve matched the factory arms/deflectors perfectly. It increased the surface are and also extended it much lower to the point they were nearly touching the ground under braking. Seemed to help his car...It took about an hour and the most expensive parts were the 6mm bolts and fender washers holding them to the existing defleftors. Good luck |

We were having brake fade on the track last year. We put in fresh ATE super brake fluid, and we swap out the stock pads for Pagid yellow RS29's before each track event. Now we can run in back to back sessions with no fade problems. The Pagid's aren't cheap, but neither is missing a turn.
Cheers,

I've found that the ducts don't help brake cooling much, the A arm diverters work well for that, you can even double them up for improved performance
The front intakes can let a little more air into the coolers/condenser. Most of the usual suspects, BW, BB, MAS, et al can help you out

Brake Cooling
I've been reading about different options and want to move forward with some cooling assistance. Previous weekend had me doing back-to-back sessions and I had a little smoke coming from the front when I came in.
I'm running Endless fluid, Pagid pads, slotted zimmermans and 18" wheels on my RSA. From what i'm reading, it seems the extending the deflector is probably the cheapest and is more effective than fog light replacement inlets w/hoses. Has anyone measured the actual temp before/after trying these different cooling methods?
