G2X owners....install question
Ready to install in the car. Found the wiring diagram for the 93' 964.
#16 is the rpm wire. I'm gathering i'll need to cut the casing near the plug to find the proper wire to tap into. What color(s) is the wire to just to make the wire easier to find? The plug list I have only says what it they go to, not the color. Where is the best place to get my "key on" power and ground? I read the brown/red is key on power for the radio and brown is ground. Are these locations/hookup ideas okay to go with? Is there a better/easier choice? Thanks!

Looked from underneath but no luck seeing it. Not sure how to get to it.......i'm sure it's easy, but haven't had a reason(knock on wood) to hunt around. Figured it's better to ask from those that are experienced!

Looking at the wiring diagram, went to the OBD connector and checked the plug for RPM (pin#14) then tapped it from behind the plug. Perfect!
