Porsche Crest This can't be what I read about - 964 flywheel

I read alot about the dual mass flywheel on the 964 motor. Expecting to see one when I took the flywheel of my 93' 3.6 last night, I found a flywheel exactly like the one below in perfect condition. It can't weigh more than 17-18 lbs, if that. The clutch disc looked as if it was installed last week. Is this the RS lightened flywheel? Anyone knwo what it would be worth?

It's no good, piece of junk. However, I'll take it off your hands. I know you need the garage space for your transplant.

Do you have pictures of the other side. I took a look at a LWF at Andial with the weight they add. I was just wondering if this was one with the weight added. It does look like a LWF. I'll trade you for a stock 964 exhaust system!

John, is your motor still out of the car? What timing!

There are no weights added to the other side. The motor came directly from Germany so i seriously doubt it is the Andail. If your interested I'll give you a deal on the whole set up: clutch cover, pressure plate, flywheel. Are you going to Dunkles? I'm sure the DME is also chipped considering the complaints about stalling out, but I will not be sure. Next Sunday Ingo is installing a new chip in mine so if there is any way to tell I'll know then.

Paul,

I'm definately interested on the clutch/flywheel deal. I decided not to pull the motor right now. I just replaced a couple oil lines, rotors, new brake pads, and GHL header and exhaust. I drove it today for the first time in over a month. I wanted to clean up the engine to pinpoint other potential leaks. I'll drive it for a couple months and then I'll drop the engine. Maybe I have to upgrade to some 3.8 p/c just to keep up with you!

I'll try and make it to Dunkels on Sunday. Is it on Sunday? Anyway, depending on if my son is in a good mood or not!

John, sorry but Harald had installed his own personal RS flywheel/clutch set up and forgot to take it off my motor before shipping it. I am sending it back to him. I'll see you Dunkels on Sunday.
