996 GT3 after blown coolant lines
Hi friends,
I am looking at a 996 GT3 for sale and it appears that it did pop coolant lines while on the track. It's been fixed since (and most likely by a reputable shop) but I am left wondering with two questions:

The coolant lines issue on these cars applies to all of them. As for how hard the car was pushed, the normal download of DME rev zones data collected during a good PPI should tell you more on that subject.

Common problem when these cars used on track.
On my own , no risks of damages , i owned one with the same fail , and it's better to buy a car with that fixed. These engines are really strong , don't worry.

They fail on the street too.... They will all fail someday. Pinning or welding for repair. We pin as we have seen far too many welded repairs in our shop requiring another try. That is more of a statement of the repair facility, not the process mind you.
