Hey Jim,
I'll be there, helping in the pits and instructing/tuning with a couple buddies in the TT.
So what is your ambitious schedule, that car doing a couple back to back sessions over that 3 day weekend?
What about Sunday are you doing all of this?
POC sprint race, PCA sprint race and an hour long PCA Enduro.

Yeah...the car is used to being flogged when my brother is running too. He's going down to Argentina for some fly-fishing, so he won't be there. Good thing too...2 sets of brand new Hoosiers all for me!

W/ POC, at least it'll be red/orange combined, so I'll have some others to get around, not just be a moving chicane

I'll bring the cancer sticks...we'll spark 'em up 1 nite!

If you are solo Jae and the guys will be around and I'd be happy to help with fuel and tires and whatever. Sheezz entering both by yourself, you are gonna be busy! I'll bring my work gloves, Sounds like fun!

I'll be swinging by on Sunday to check yooz guys out! Gota pick up my new RA-1's from Chapman tires there (free ship, no tax)

Question, after I pay the 10 for parking can I hit the pits and meet soma yooz guys or will they let me in the pit / corral?

The Speedfest is very participant/spectator friendly. You can walk just about anywhere but the hot pits. Garages, infield stands, booths, swap meet....have always been open.

I'm planning right now to just go up on Sunday for the autox. Hope it doesn't RAIN! The forecasts are not looking good for Fri-Sat. right now, but they've been wrong plenty of times this winter.

I'll try to look for you guys trackside. Keep the shiny side up!

Right now, the forecast for Sunday is looking pretty good. Riverside region is running the autox, and I don't know what their rain policy is. I know the clubrace and TT events are on RAIN or SHINE, though. I'm taking some rain tires and hoping for the best. I figure "if you don't go, you'll never know."

I spoke with those guys today. I think they've got the deal on. That'll be my next set of tires.

The weather today held out nicely until the lunch hour. Then it got nasty wet. Better weather for tomorrow is on tap.
