Mounting a Tow Strap to 911SC

Does anyone have pictures or a recommendation of where to mount safequip tow straps to the fron t and rear of a 82 911SC? I am prepping the car for SCCA ITR.

IMHO, The only logical place to mount a tow hook on the front SC tub without a welded & gusseted install is to use the front bumper bracket mounting pemnuts.

Do these PEM NUTS exist on the bumper already? Would this require a toe strap or a toe hook bracket? What about the rear?

The rear can be bolted (with a high grade bolt and washer) to the toe eyes behind the bumper. Cut a small notch in the valence to pass the strap through. To protect the strap from the heat of the exhaust, you can use the large heat sleeve that hot rod shops sell to protect wires in high-temp areas.

The pemnuts are on the front tub where the stock bumper brackets mount. I fabricated a tow hook mounting bracket from angle iron and a nut welded to the angle iron. Bolt the fabbed mounting bracket to the pemnuts in the tub and hole saw your spoiler in the just the right spot.
My threaded tow hook was 15$ and the hole saw was $10. Now the question is are you going to mount it on the right or left side of the car, let your politics guide your choice
