I downloaded Track Addict. Looks interesting, especially for free. Where did you see that it was only good for 3 recorded sessions? I don't see any mention of this on the Google Play site. As far as I can tell, it is unlimited use for free. The only thing that costs money is if you want to live stream, or tap into the "racerender" functions. I'll give it a whirl at Road America over Labor Day. I'll report back with my results.

It will store 3 runs or videos. Then , you need to erase a video to get a new one...

Oh, OK. I haven't used it yet. I have a feeling I probably don't have enough memory on my phone for more than three 25-30 min videos anyway. I was thinking I would have to copy it onto a laptop between sessions. Thanks.

Yes.. I like it. Limitations with free version is it will only allow 3 sessions, then you have to delete one, or more. Pairs nicely with Race Render - also a free version available, but will only output a 3 min. video.
Here's a few laps done with TA and RR:

Shot with iPhone 6. Camera shake is mostly caused by mount, which is bulky on account of the case the phone is in. Car is a Targa, so wind noise is greater than would be with a coupe.

Newer cars with the data port thing can get more info such as rpm, gear choice, etc.

Assuming you just use the stand alone Track Addict, can you copy sessions to another device, or is it limited to storing only your last three sessions, in effect? Also, what do you mean it will only output a 3 min video? If I'm running a 30 min DE session, is it only going to store 3 min of the session?

Thanks.
Roger

I use RaceChrono for the Android that has been updated quite a bit.

Has neat replay functions with map overlay. I use it with an 10hz external GPS. Compatible with Race Renderer. I think the basic cost is $5 for predictive lap timer, time delta, graphing. The Pro version has OBD, video overlay etc.. ~$20.
