'88 944 spec or SP1 Race Car $7995 newly finished

This car was just put together last year and run in a few drivers’ education events. It has just enough track time to "get the bugs out" without being "worn out". The motor was just replaced this winter another '88 engine which (this is the best performing of all the 2.5 liter 944 engines) because of the 10.2 compression ratio pistons, better camshaft, and improved oil pan baffle. The engine just installed in this car only had 89,000 miles on the engine and we just installed new rod bearings to be safe. I have listed the other items below that have been upgraded.

SAFETY ITEMS-Custom welded roll cage, race seat, Sparco steering wheel, Sparco steering wheel adaptor, 6 pt cam lock harnesses, 17 inch rear view mirror, safety solutions right side helmet net.

OTHER ITEMS OF INTEREST -2 sets of wheels, interior has been repainted with grey speckle paint.

I have not had a single person with cash call about this car. I am not interested in another car. I would keep this car if I wanted a car. I am interested in cash now! The one guy who has looked at the car truly wanted to purchase the car but unfortunately could not raise the cash.

I know it is rough times but guys, cars of this quality sold for $12k to $13k last spring. Frankly if times were not rough this car would not be for sale. Did I mention that this car comes with a spare '88 engine (needs work). Have a great Friday!
