A friend of mine is an independent trader. A few days ago he had a Cayenne available at list with no one interested. He also had a fully loaded 996 and two X5s which he was discounting, again no one interested. I'd guess the Cayenne is going to depreciate like a brick once the new car fever fizzles out.

So, how hard is it to get out of a lease? How do you early terminate a leased vehicle?

Ah, yes, the infamous lease option. Which I refer to as the Never, Never , Never plan.
You'll never own it You'll never pay it off You'll never have any equity A lease is a contract. In your contract it will state the termination agreement. I believe at this point, it's best to just drive it until the lease runs out? Although, not an expert in this field by any means.

Well, the Porsche dealer here in Victoria has 3 pre-sold plus a black Turbo in the showroom that sold on Friday. I took out the last Cayenne S in his stock (he's keeping it for himself) yesterday afternoon and have to say that I couldn't have attracted more attention if I had been cruising down the road naked on top of a tank! Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, did the rubberneck jawdrop stare as I rolled by in the thing. I haven't had that kind of attention since I drove my 912 around missing the left front fender...

This makes a great used car. If I had the cash, and there are no horrid recalls, I'd be the proud owner of a pepper truck just because it is sooooooooooo eccentric as far as Porsches go.
Make mine black. And if I can geta classy trailer to tow a black 964 to the races so much the better. |
