I drove it...
a friend just picked up his Cayenne S (lucky bastard has a choice between that and an X5 4.4i) and he let me drive it. Even though he told me not to take it passed 4500 I could still feel the power. The car definitely has good pickup and the road manners are awesome, the owner took it through some twisties with me and pitched it hard into a corner and then throttle steered the monster out. The tires screamed like crazy but I haven't seen an SUV hold the road like that, much better than my Isuzu Trooper
Anyway, he's looking to have 20" HRE wheels fitted and also a lowering kit of some sort and suspension tire bars and an aftermarket exhaust........though no one makes anything for the car yet. My first impressions are this is the sickest SUV ever, very cool car and you get tons of looks in it too.....a nice driver, that is for sure.

I saw one the other day. Pulled up behind me at Best Buy. Talked to the owner of the beast (a Turbo). It's pretty nice looking, actually, in person. I mean...it's an SUV. But screw it. For an SUV, it's pretty cool looking, and it has a Porsche crest.
