exactly. that has been my contention for years. traffic jams aren't caused by too many cars, etc. etc. but rather by the thousands of morons in those traffic jams making conscious decisions to create one

In my daily adventures in motoring I have to pass a private upscale junior high school at least twice a day. Apparently the requiremnts for admission to this school requires that the parents drive SUVs over eight tons, and that the mom (daily driver) be at least partially blind. If I forget, as I often do at my age, and attempt to drive by the school at 3:15 in the afternoon I am amazed at some of the driving manuvers the moms (and dads) will use to either enter or exit the school's already congested parking lot. Oh well, another chapter in my book, "Famous accidents I have almost been in".

You know who pisses me off? Truck drivers. I drive on I5 a lot and a lot of times it is only 2 lanes around here. oregon/washington. Sometimes these big trucks like to pass each other.....so meanwhile a huge group of cars waits for a few minutes for one huge ass truck to pass another huge ass truck inching by.......only to get right in front of that truck.......and........and...........AND? I am sure it is just a cycle of passing each other......these guys on a race across country..........

i don't think semis should be allowed in left lanes......

in oregon the trucks can also be huge. like 3 trailers long.......basically 3 semis long......

The guy hits his horn and yells "what the hell are you doing". I look up suprised and he yells "next time wait your turn". I yell back "if you are turning then next time use your signal". That got me the finger. So MIKEZ, the guy is a jerk either way for giving the finger, but were you all the way in your lane and did you have your signal on.

Problem with that theory is that it is illegal to use the median or "widen" a lane to get past someone so you can turn right. How do I know you ask....well, because I got pulled over for it

It gets better, with the SUV crowd, allot of them *THINK* that their autos are:
1.) Safe (bet I could roll it without trying)
2.) Good visibility (Duno about you but it has more blind spots
Than the old man with a white tipped cane)
3.) It drives nice (Humm... I think every one here knows)

I could go on, but gona leave it a three strikes. Some ppl buy them because they say it's good for off road. I think my friend’s dozer does allot better, thank you very much. And what about a WRX for going fast in the dirt? If I want to go out in the middle of nowhere, I want 1.) Baja Buggy 2.) WRX
I would rather buy two special propose vehicles than one half-assed SUV
Oh yea, and I get better MPG...
It's sad, the general public is getting dumber by the dozen, and the one key diff. between the genders is closing. Very sad.
