Looking at an 04s

Have a customer that has a 2004s that he would sell...get this..it has less than 8k miles on it.
His wife didnt like it so it sits in the garage with his other toys. It is a beautiful Black/Dark Blue..looks and smells new.

Any opinion on a fair price? I'm thinking 20K..even considering the low miles,

I know about the issues with the coolant pipes and drive shafts but should be able to get an aftermarket warranty to 110k for pretty cheap.

thanks,
Ben

I have an 04 that I purchased 4 years ago for $21,000 but it had 40k on it. The driveshaft just went out at 100K but no big deal got a rebuilt for $350 and rides like new again. I really do love this truck and will buy another one soon. Even with the issues it is a great truck 20K might be a little high for it but with that mileage it might be worth it. Trucks with much higher milage go for between 15k and 19k. If you get a warrenty make sure it is a good one I spent $3000 on a warrenty and every time I needed it they said that the problem was not covered Porsche had to fight with them to get them to pay for anything.

BTDT. 2004CS, gave up at 107k miles.
loved it when i didnt have to fix it.
driveshaft
coolant pipes
coils
fuel pumps
hatch shocks
cat flex pipes
a/c solenoids
electrical gremlins that come and go
tranny issues
cv joints
wheel bearings
scored cylinders requiring an engine swap, not mine
normally eats tires and brakes

read thru rennlists cayenne forum.

Not a bad truck, just might require constant care.
