2006 Cayenne 3.2 V6 Tiptroic S Transmission hestiation

I have a 2006 3.2 V6 with tiptronic S transmission, only had it a month a half. Sometimes the transmission feels a little uneven. There's hestation and a very slight "jerking" when going lower speeds, especially in traffic or going out of my driveway.

First, how smooth is the transmission supposed to be? My old 2002 Range Rover was smoother, so is my gf's 2010 Rav4.

What could cause these issues? It seems to get better with the PSM Off, but it revs too high on it so I don't want to drive with it off all the time.

Also, the PSM seems to have learned from a sluggish PO. Is there a way to reset this stuff?

I have 148K miles, not sure when the ATF was changed last.

Definitely could be because of the ATF not being changed (service should be done ~80k miles or so). The transmission should feel 'sporty' when shifting, but by no means should it feel jerky or delayed. In case the ATF service needs to be done, I've included a diy tech article that will help you do this. If you have any questions, feel free to post a Comment just below the article and someone will get back to you with a more detailed answer. Best of luck!
