930's with F1 engines
https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a23706900/lanzante-formula-1-engines-porsche-930/
Anybody want to venture a guess as to the price? |

Talk about the ultimate 911. My billionaire alter ego would rather have this than the latest Singer/Williams collaboration.

You need a crew quarters built onto your garage to house the mechanic and maintenance crew.

I’d guess pricing will be somewhere between crazy and insane, just like the horsepower. They don’t mention anything other than an engine swap, but there’s got to be more to this conversion. Strange...
I’d personally be more interested in their garbage since I couldn’t afford a Tag Turbo! The 3.3 turbo motors they have no use for I’ll take. LOL |

Sorry, but this is just another parlor trick with people trying to up Singer. What's next, they going to shoot a 930 out of a cannon through a ring of fire? Give me a break.
It's ridiculous and quite unneeded and unwarranted. For the first time in my life a LS376 conversion looks neater and a better value. What people do not realize is how fragile these engines were (are). I guess it doesn't matter as most will end up not being driven anyway. Just not excited. |

They had a booth a Rennsport with an engine on display. It was dreamy but I more enjoyed seeing the actual car across the bridge in the paddock. The whole idea gets a "meh" from me.

I like it from a "fun to look at on Instagram" point of view but honestly, what am I going to do with that kind of power in the real world in an antiquated torsion bar chassis'd car?

There's no such thing as too much power (even it you don't use all of it that is available), butt that said, Deez has mentioned that the cars will be sold with a 575hp tune and cost over $1 mil, and several Turbo forum members have well over that and built for a lot less money.

Yep. 575 is doable without going super wild with the build, even (not saying it's cheap and easy, but it doesn't require radical mods). |

And almost as cool, apparently these things came with engines from Porsche at one time too.

Similar thread in the Turbo section. I'll post the same I said there here.
The car is basically a perfectly restored 930 with an aftermarket engine and transmission that makes ok power. The F1 engine is a gimmick. It's not special enough to bring $1.3M. Not even close. I can't imagine buying this car over the Guntherwerks or Singer cars. But I can't afford any of them so my opinion is pointless...

For $1.3M, I'll push up my retirement another decade.
