My 68 T was originally light ivory with red interior. Some joker changed it to aubergine in an RS look in the 80s. Guy I sold it to took it back since it was a 50k mi car with original interior. Classic look imo.

But metallic green is even more awesome. I’m with the ditch the seats crowd and go green.

Don't talk crazy--you've got to go IGM!

Here's the deal: if you're building a hot rod like a wide body longhood, you've already made the decision to market an eye-catching car. To make it a boring color combo is counterintuitive. Go wild.

Then stay the course for dog's sake. Value be damned. You have a vision. Fill it. It's your car right now.

I agree that one of the newly revived cool colors is Olive Green. I've painted a couple of my projects this year with it. I might go with red interior on the Healey.

I’ve got one in diapers. I see that color way too often.

You know wutz weird, Phatt, that while that color does look like what you might see in the vomit produced by someone who had recently eaten a mix of peas and squash, it isn't quite as repulsive as that gold, horse pizz stuff on the trick 914.

Or what MountainMan said!

Most people really like the color but refer to it as babys**t green.

Whatever color you choose don’t ditch the seats. Those look amazing.
It’s funny how subjective color is. Especially on cars. While it’s not my first choice, I like olive green.
But hey, Bitter Chocolate is one of my favorites behind Leaf Green. Either of which would look killer with a red leather interior
