It is a true case of the emperors new cloths syndrome. But it gets Street Cred by the people that have no clue. LOL. The money someone will spend on this they could have a nice car converted properly and have no worries for years to come.

Sugarwood DO the math. It takes 7-10 days for the filler to cure and additional time for the primer and paint the Glasurit takes time to shrink and there is no way that you can do a proper job in 2 weeks maybe three but highly doubtful. Here is a 914 that had a 4 week build and it was only accomplished because the flairs were properly butt welded and required 0 filler so that curing process was saved. If you have a clue about bodywork you would know better vs mimicking what other say on Instagram.

A proper job takes time and skill and the paint showed me little of both.

If you had a clue you would know I don't have to see what was done to be able to tell the time line is not possible and in 2 years the 90 will be needing a complete rework while this 914 will go on for decades needing nothing.

Of all the people on these forums & BaT the Instagram lovers are the ones that scare me the most. Huge months with nothing to back it up.

Filler cures in 30 mins.
Not 10 days.
Letting Bondo sit around unpainted for 10 days would allow it to absorb moisture.
Not one body shop in the USA does that.

That would also make any repair at a pro body shop require a 2 week turnaround.
Not the case.

Body shops also use UV bake lights to reduce drying time to 20 mins.
They also use hardners in the paint, so curing time is days, not months, like in the old days.

I’m not understanding the price of this car at all. In one of the pictures the seam where the rear flair was put on is visible through the paint. The dash is lit up with warning lights, and lots of little easily correctable items are undone. Really, why have professional pictures made without getting the cover for one windshield wiper nut?

This is a tired 964 that has needs. It isnt a track rat either, not with the early small brakes.

15% leak down in one cylinder? Buyer beware, this car needs 10’s of thousands of work.

Compression varies from 190 psi to 165 psi and its not even the weak number 6 that's showing 165 psi.

The washer tank and associated lines needs to be fixed.

The seatbelt or SRS light is doe to the removal of the airbags without reworking the system.


The spoiler light is obviously because the rear deck lid was removed.

Its not hard to fix those systems, all it takes is a little money and time.

This car is a TURD with lipstick.

On any other 964 the peanut gallery would be screaming about the compression and leak down numbers...

This photo appears to be sanding scratches in the filler where the rear flare was attached. Blow it up or look at it on BAT.

Must look like hell on a black car at the top of the fender. The photographer took a direct picture of it, and someone is still going to pay over 60 grand for a car that needs a repaint.
