You know, Brandon, that color reminds me of Rustoleum's, Smoke Grey, which I use a lot on aircraft interior components (seat frames, various panels, handles, arm rests, etc.) - really looks nice along with red (red is a common color for aircraft carpet and seats). Ford's engine grey is also very similar to smoke grey (just a little bit darker, but can pass for smoke).

Matt thanks.
Black3.2 thank you. Sometimes I consider continuing with the light gray. |
It looks similar in color to Mike's car.

Yours is more matte. I'm guessing that's what prompts the primer comments.
|
Yes. I guess I could polish it.

^^^ I painted an Alfa that color scheme but gloss and no plaid in the interior. Always liked it. If I were going to change it with that interior, I'd go darker gray, like current P-car Agate.

Also I have these graphic decals I’ve been thinking about. What about that? |
What's your goal with this car? Are you trying to increase the appeal and maybe get it ready for sale? If that's the case, then there are certainly some changes you could make to bring it more up to date with current demand for hotrodded cars. I and others would have suggestions, but they won't be much use unless we know what your goals are.

I intend this to be my last change before enjoying and then selling in a year or so.
So selling is one of my concerns this time. I am in the process of backdating it right now. |
Surveys have shown that adding the Martini livery increases the selling price of a vehicle significantly. Go4it.
