That was my first inclination, but the photos don’t do it justice.

No definitely not. I would have corrected the color until it matched what you see when standing in front of the color. I also would have put the decklid with the polyurethane whale tail back on it that is included in the auction.

Unique color will bring this in low to mid 30s is my guess. Another crappy presentation on BAT might hold it back though.

the season too. an auction ending on black fridee may end up being a buyers market due to the season. my pops is putting his 67 SS396 Chevelle on BAT and our discussions I have talked him into waiting until after the 1st of the year to get the holiday stuff out of the way.

it's a resto-mod w/o matching numbers that spent time a drag car in the 70's. very narrow audience we reckon and after the new year seemed like his best option.

Still waiting for that $30k manual 964 C2 Coupe you've predicted. Cash in hand.

We don't sell anything past Thanksgiving, and don't restart until March at the earliest. If you sell in the winter, your market is 80% flippers, who will buy from you and hold until Spring.

An auction ending on Black Friday May get drunk bidders spending too much.

This article just appeared in Jalopnik, interesting as this Targa was just discussed on page 24 starting in message 233. Buyer got a great deal - for sure.

I've heard this same story when I ordered my first NEW 911 in June of 1971. When will we learn our lesson????

Who knows. Mid or high 30s? Depends on if someone who wants the color shows up.

This Toby! The 69 Z28 I won't put on the market til warm weather. In the same storage got a 73 Motoguzzi 850 Eldorado shaft drive. Same deal, not til warm weather (Sping?). Sounds like a monsta muscle car that 67 Chevelle SS 396! Friend I bought the Z from in hometown has a 396SS Chevelle, but with an automatic. Hope you got a manuel -- worth more, easier to sell.

it is a 4 speed, but as I noted it is significantly molested being a resto-mod. has wildwood brakes, fuel injection, tasteful aftermarket wheels and recaro seats. funky, fortified tunnel having been a drag racer. it has been reinforced so if a driveshaft let go it could not make it's way to the driver compartment.

cool car, but not my cup of tea. both my mom and I are glad he's selling it. she wants him to sell his 100 year anniversary edition, carbon fiber bodied 2012 z06 vette and that's where her and I part ways. not many were produced and I suspect if I end up with it at some point it will be worth a ton.
