Here is the targa that sold earlier this year for $34,000
I really liked that one, enough to talk about it with the seller.

cool car, but not my cup of tea. both my mom and I are glad he's selling it. she wants him to sell his 100 year anniversary edition, carbon fiber bodied 2012 z06 vette and that's where her and I part ways. not many were produced and I suspect if I end up with it at some point it will be worth a ton.
My idea on the Chevelle, if you still have a trailer by then, tow it over to Reno for Hot August nights maybe with a for sale sign and park it.. With all the hot rodder mods you might get some audience there with guys that still like rodding those. Moreover, you got a 4 speed which is great! Someone may even want to restore it (maybe not). Didn't mention my friend's SS 396 was a 68', black and convertible. Oh, but it's automatic...

Anyone who waited to buy until recently is in a much better spot. I remember 4-5 years ago I was looking at 914/6 conversions, they were all $30,000-40,000 with guys wanting $25,000 for unfinished ones. Now they are $20,000 all day long. Oh well.

But waiting doesn't always work, sometimes the market doesn't come back down, it just levels off. The other piece of this is if you buy a car, you can actually enjoy it and as long as you keep it 5 years you'll be fine, no matter what you paid for it.
Money in the bank is great, but this is a lot funner!

Sounds like a fun plan to me! Conversely, driving one you want to sell, but haven't, might be even funner!?

Actually the frozen snow don't hurt nothing. They say it's not the fall that kills you (from so many meters (like 100), it's the sudden impact!

These boys have nothin to worry about and I think they know that. It's just strategy and know how. Over time though, they need to get those good buddies indoors, for better or worse no doubt!
