Oh Snap!
Even BAT is starting to wake up from its 2016 slumber.
sub-100K miles '85 Coupe Sold for $36K.

Granted, the paint, yes. But still, 4 owners, maintenance history, California car.

Sell now or be priced in forever.

$38k all in seemed about right for that driver. Love Prussian Blue but that car looked a little rough and TMU mention in the description didn't help it. At the end of the day the buyer is going to be well into the $40s if they start to sort some the cosmetic issues, minor mechanical needs, and pay taxes/reg.

Remember back around August, when everyone was laughing at the notion of prices dropping 30%? UNPOSSIBLE!

One car does not make the market or trend and clearly that car was priced WAY too high to begin with.

If I list a nice clean straight 1987 911 coupe with 100k miles on it for $250k dollars and over the course of three months walk the asking price down to $40k does that mean the market is crashing?

No it's crashing because a year ago that would have sold for $50K.

Asking prices ≠ selling prices.

That is all.

A 1977 guards red 911S targa with TMU for $47K? That's almost as funny as the "prototype" that's been on Ebay for a million bucks for a decade. That car better be perfect at that price. A condition 2 '77 has been flat lined at $32k for the better part of 2 years now, so he's getting close to the real price. If the car is condition 3, he's still got a ways to go to hit a real market price. Like Trader said, you keep finding examples of idiots trying to sell way off the mark and taking their markdowns as some sort of collapse of the market. I would expect that car to sell between 28-30k, which is right about the same I would have said a year ago. But keep trying...

The PML dude timed it completely wrong, didn't he ?

It has been ... what ... 6 years and counting not be indulging yourself in a hobby if he was in fact for real in the first place.

That's a long time in anyone's book of life.

Once we've rid our streets of ICE vehicles and we're riding around in autonomous flying cars, he will be ready to dive into the hobby.
