73T Coupe
Switching gears....or cars. Autokennel is selling this beautiful ‘73T. Link provided with full details. 85k seams high after observing recent BAT auctions. Any insight would help greatly. Thx

Nothing on BaT compares to what Autokennel sells. One is a stock auction, the other is aged Kobe beef.

I always heard that the first half of the '73's had MFI. From what I've seen, I think it was more like the first quarter of '73's still had MFI. Anybody else see that?

Autokennel does not sell painted pigs, however he is REAL proud of everything he has.

Figure a dealer will always be 10-20% more than you would pay private party.

Looks like a $50-55k car to me. It's a decent driver. Interior is nice (not sure about the fake sport seats, though...).

Thanks guys. I was thinking 65-70. Makellos has a nice Red and Burgandy in the low mid 60’s. Has anyone dealt with them?

They are good guys, younger enthusiasts. More of a restorod shop than strict original type work.

I sold cars for a year for Makellos. John Kenyon and his son Matt are true Porsche enthusiasts and good Christians. I enjoyed my time there.

Thx. I’ve heard nothing but good things. They seem to have good mechanics providing a reliable driver too I hear.

Makellos is solid
Makellos is solid.
I purchased their “3 Ball” (1970T) two years ago and am very happy. Matt and his father are devout Christians and honest sellers. They only deal in solid cars. Would highly recommend. |

I will say that everyone that touched the car is exactly who you’d want working on it. No “cheap” repairs. |

Yeah, you don’t get to re-coop maintenance, even when it’s five figures.

Says most door jambs original paint, but this is clearly not the case from the photos.
Looks to be a nice car but overpriced. |
